Hello! I’m not going to ramble much as this is probably going to be a long post, so here are all the books I’ve read since my last Wrap-Up in January…
Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2) By Leigh Bardugo – 5/5 – I loved this book! And this series! My review of the series is here.
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera – 5/5 – This book was undoubtedly heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time, a very moving read with an amazing message, loved it! Loved Adam Silvera’s writing, too.
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Creekwood #1) by Becky Albertalli – 5/5 – I really enjoyed this novel, too! Another very moving read and shows the importance of LGBTQ+ representation!
Obsidio (Illuminae Files #3) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – 5/5 – Another great read! An amazing conclusion to an amazing series, so sad that it is over.
War Storm (Red Queen #4) by Victoria Aveyard – 4/5 – Another series I have finished. I always seem to have mixed feelings about the Red Queen series. I enjoyed it, there was a good and entertaining plot but it could have been so much shorter. I am sad that it is over, though.
That Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – 5/5 – A very powerful and gut-wrenching read with messages and themes that are very important today and that need to be addressed. A must-read for everyone.
Truly Devious (Truly Devious #1) by Maureen Johnson – 5/5 – Another fantastic read! Nothing like what I had expected and an amazing start to a mystery series!
The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Stiefvater – 5/5 – I LOVE this one! I fell head over heels for this book and all the characters within the first page. An amazing start to a series and a definite new favourite.
The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #2) by Maggie Stiefvater – 5/5 – Loved this read, even more, I can’t put into words how much I enjoy this series and the characters. An incredible sequel.
Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle #3) by Maggie Stiefvater – 5/5 – Another amazing addition to this series, but sad that it is coming to an end. I am going to miss these characters so much.
That’s it! It may not be many books to read in nearly 10 months, but it is for me! Considering I was at school at the time. I loved all of these books and am very happy that I read them as some of them are new favourites. Also, keep an eye out for all my thoughts of these books to come soon!
