Hello! I hope you are had a good week! Today I am listing the book series I have yet to finish, let’s get going! These are in no particular order.
The 5th Wave series by Rick Yancey
I read the first book around the time the movie was announced and really enjoyed it. The twists in it were really quite unexpected. I tried reading the next book, The Infinite Sea, and just couldn’t get into it. I think I also got really busy around this time and I had to put it down. I don’t know if I’ll finish this series, I’ve kind of lost interest in it now.
Girl Online series by Zoë Sugg
I love Zoë so much, she is honestly one of my favourite YouTubers and I quite enjoyed Girl Online but I did have some trouble with the writing style and it was just full of tropes and very stereotypical. I have not got around to the second one, Girl Online: On Tour, and I have no idea if I ever will get to it.
Tomorrow When the War Began series by John Marsden
Tomorrow When the War Began is a classic for us here in Australia. I think every student as read it for English at some point. I read the first one and was happy with the ending and I didn’t really feel the need to continue the series.
The Giver series by Lois Lowry
I read The Giver not knowing there were three other books and I was content with the ending and I don’t really have any intention to continue the series. Also, the movie was really bad.
Fallen series by Lauren Kate
I read Fallen and got halfway through Torment when I was easing out of my supernatural phase and heading into a slump. I really enjoyed Fallen and I’m quite sad I went into a slump and never finished the series, I may still get back into them one day, but who knows.
So that’s that! Thanks for reading! Let me know your thoughts if you read any of these series and if I should continue any of them!
I finished the 5th wave and hmm I kind of regret it now haha It wasn’t the best experience for me haha

Fellow Aussie here! Tomorrow When the War Begun is a must, I continued on with the series for a while but can’t remember how far as I didn’t use Goodreads at the time. Did you ever watch the movie?

I stopped the series after The 5th Wave after hearing not the greatest things about the last two books ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I had no idea The Giver had more books after the first one until recently O.O I plan on reading them, but the nerves are holding me back ahaha

Yeah, I feel a bit the same!
The Giver doesn’t really end on a cliffhanger so I was kinda okay with the ending haha. I might just get the rest of the series because the covers are pretty 🤷🏻♀️

I found out The Giver had more books last year lol. I read the 4 books back-to-back in December. Each book is about a different community. But the characters are interconnected. Jonas and Gabe do reappear. Hope that helps a little lol.

I would also say The Giver series is one to go back to. I found them all intriguing, and all quite different from one another.

Ouais, j’adore cette trilogie de livre, c’est trop mignon mais l’histoire est trop simple et prévisible.
