My Most Anticipated Reads for This Year

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is having a good Monday! Today I will be listing the books I plan to read this year, that I am most excited for. Some of these books have been out for a while, or haven’t even been released yet. Let’s get going, shall we?

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
I am so excited to read this book. There is so much hype for The Hate U Give but I think it is so worth it, there definitely needs to be more exploration and education with the Black Lives Matter movement.

One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake 
I am so so keen for the second installation in the Three Dark Crowns series, the last chapter of Three Dark Crowns had me speechless, can September come quicker, please?!

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
I really enjoyed Red Queen, therefore I am rather excited to read Glass Sword to see where the story goes.

Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Illuminae blew my mind! I need the next one ASAP!

The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater 
I have heard so much about this series and I am really intrigued to read them, to see what all the fuss is about for myself.

Six of Crows Series by Leigh Bardugo
Like I said with The Raven Cycle, the same goes for this series. I am just so interested in what these series have to offer!

The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan 
This series has been on my radar for years, I am so determined to get them read this year.
